The Dancin’ Dynamites Competition which started in 2006 spans a period of three and a half (3 1/2) months allowing for a 14 week promotion. Twelve (12) dance groups are selected from an island-wide search and weekly dancers present their 2 minute routine on television.
The show which attracts an audience of over one million viewers in Jamaica is aired on Sundays 7-8 pm and repeated on Tuesdays at 5:30 and Thursdays at 1:30 pm on CVM.
