As we all can see,times are getting tougher and tougher. As Rasta bredrin, it is hard to not realize the need for history and teaching. One of the most fundamental idealogies of Rastafari is the drum. In searching both at home and abroad (as well as in many of the reggae acts we would go to watch as muscians ourselves), I n I found that there were less and less binghy drums around. Shamefull! So thus, here is our site where we will try and keep the drum culture alive.

One Blood originally started out as a Crew in 1996. The two founding members Stylee and Kulcha got busy with lots of appearances in Switzerland’s Roots Reggae Dances. With their wide-range selection reaching from roots to latest dancehall riddims they were soon known for their variable and energetic sets.
Rebel Liberation Sounds was founded 24th August 2006 in (Githurai 45)Nairobi Kenyan by the Dj Take reggae addict Selector King Rebel. The name of Rebel Liberation" was found after weeks of search. The Name Rebel came After name of the Sounds King Rebel and Liberation came when Rebel came to Liberate Kenyans Reggae fans. The significance of this word is very important to Kenyans Reggae fans because it represents a part of their identity. The purpose of the sound is to bring all people together, no matter what their skin color, tribe race or religion, simply through the power of Jah music.
Paul Shaw, a.k.a Danger, started playing music in '88 on Cornwall Beach, Montego Bay.
Better known as "Batman" in that time, he started out as a roadie, helping the selector from the sound. Batman was helping him for about 2 years, until Martin find another job and left. (God bless Martin, he was a teacher for real!) From this time on, Danger was in charge of running the sound, hooking up live bands, controlling the engineering and so on.
Big things were going on at this beach early in the nineties : the first night of Sunsplash was kept on Cornwall Beach, Reggae Kwanza and also other stage shows. Every Wednesday night live bands such as : Ed Robinson, Dean Frazier, Ritchie Stephens, Lt. Stichie, Mistic Reveilers, ...Yes, it was a busy time for the soundsystem.
From London to Nairobi, Milan to Washington, Silver Star are one of the UK’s best known international DJs, bringing reggae dancehall to audiences far and wide. Previously broadcasting weekly on BBC Radio 1Xtra in the UK and online worldwide, Silver Star can now be heard in East Africa on Homeboyz Radio(Kenya),Times FM(Tanzania),also XFM(Uganda).
Silver Star also present”TO DI WORLD”international dancehall show, which is aired across the UK on various radio stations including Unique Radio, Sting dem, Fresh FM.
They also have a radio show in France, which is broadcast on Partytime radio
Small Axe Sound is specialized in caribbean music such as Reggae, Dancehall & Soca – but also playing Hip Hop Classics and other Hits from way back till now. The sound is also well known for regular Roots Reggae & Rocksteady sessions beside of the mainstream dancehall business.
Smoking Tuna actually started in early1996 by Henryk a.k.a. “Henry Morgan” and “Mr.” Arnold who after playing and promoting hip hop for quite some years discovered the magic of reggae and dancehall and began playing reggae at several events in the Rostock area. They quickly fell in love with reggae entirely and decided to build up the first reggae sound system in the northern section of East Germany. In this time reggae was something totally new to the audiences in the eastern part of Germany, so there was a mission to be fulfilled by the young sound, who struggled for acceptance in the local entertainment scene.
In summer 1996 they linked up with Stephan “Steppa Ranks” Kersten who just returned from a one year stay in Kingston, Jamaica. Due to his knowledge of the Jamaican patois they figured he could complete the sound, taking the role of the micman.
SOUND ARMADA is not a stranger in the Dutch soundbusiness. Playing out since 1998, Wilfman has been able to surprise the crowd with vibrant selections every single time. From obscure foundation tracks till the latest bashment banger, there's something for everybody in the dance when 'Armada ah play'.
Supersonic was founded in the summer of 1998 in Berlin, Germany, when Panza (Selector) recorded his first set of mix tapes. He soon started selecting on his own playing a few clubs in Berlin. Spider (MC) joined the sound in 1999 and after a brief period the two became a well known tag team travelling all over the country. In 1999 Uzzla joined the two and became an important addition to the crew. In 2005 Danny Fyah left his own Firesound and joined Supersonic in addition to Spider on the mic. Then in 2006 the "Remix-Don" Jr. Blender joined the sound and added his skills as a selector and producer. Supersonic did win several clashes over the years, the most important ones beeing "Kill Or Be Killed" 2001, "Riddim Clash" 2004, "War In The East" 2007, 2009 & 2010 and "Global Clash 2009" in Brooklyn, New York

Tester has over 20 vinyl releases, amounting to more than 30 individual released tracks and has produced well over 100 original dubplates and VIP remixes. On a regular base UnitedSounds works with singers like Kenny B, Irieginal Abraham (Beef), SistaRedlock & Sista Taki.
Soundsystem UnitedSounds has played their tunes and performed at big reggae shows.
As well they performed in almost every well known venue of The Netherlands as Paradiso, Nightown, Effenaar, 013, Doornroosje, Paard, Melkweg, Tivoli.
We are the Universal Fire Soundsystem from cologne/duesseldorf. Founded in 1997 by Selecta Ogee and Mcee Brigadeer Vaka.
Mcee Brigadeer Vaka got his first experience with original reggae music while he stayed 1988 in Jamaica, after Hurricane Gilbert mashed up great parts of the island. 1989 he vistited the first time "The Reggae Sunsplash" at Bob Marley Memorial Center in Montego Bay and from these days on he was really infected. Thru his charming voice, his spontaneous talking and juggeling with the people in the audience, he really set every place "Under Fire"! From 1995-1996 he played reggae music in the "Cafe Tuba" in Cologne, the most frequented place for African people and between 1997-1998 together with Selecta Ogee as the Universal Fire Soundsystem.
