The Lyrical Sultan is a Record Company / Artist Management agency that was set up in 1991 by Mr. J. L. Brown. The Company was set up with the intention of guiding / helping to guide, while also riding with Dancehall music on it's natural progression towards the 'Next Level'. Mr. Brown (Junior) always thought that given the chance, Dancehall Reggae and Reggae music in general, would be able to stand on par and sell 'unit-for-unit' with any other musical genre out there. For this reason (in our eyes) Shaggy's 'Diamond' selling album (~ Hotshots ~), Sean Paul's 'Billboard #1' (~ Get Busy ~), and Wayne Wonder's 'British Pop chart #3' (~ No Letting Go ~) along with other Reggae / Dancehall successes were a long time coming. Plus the brilliant thing about Sean Paul and Wayne Wonder's success is that these tunes were actually made directly for the Dancehall market, and they still managed to cross over.

Authentic 1970's Jamaican reggae / dub. The period considered
by most to represent Reggae's Finest decade. Dealing directly with
jamaican producers, artists and recording studios we are unearthing
some great lost treasures.
At the time Pressure Sounds launched in the mid-nineties, revival reggae labels were relatively few and far between. With a few notable exceptions, there were virtually no imprints set up to release a continuous series of hard-to-find, long lost or unavailable classic roots reggae. Primarily the reason was, at least as far as major labels were concerned, that the prospect made little economic sense.
In the early 1990's, Steffen Franz (Stand Out Selector) enlisted the aid of Wookie J. to form Positive Sound Massive Recordings, a global sound system dealing only with the pure conscious dancehall vibe of reggae music. In response to what they felt was an onslaught of slack vocalists, Franz and Wookie J. recruited reggae musicians and vocalists with varied musical backgrounds from all over the country, including guest session players from San Francisco's already burgeoning new jazz scene, to bring the sound system's musical ideas out of the SF scene and into the world reggae market. In 1995 and again in 1998, PSM's efforts were recognized with BAMMIE (Bay Area Music Award) nominations in the Reggae/Worldbeat Club Band category.
supremacy sounds was established by Simon M Nzau, in 2003. Over six years later, the Company remains a leader in the entertainment scene in east and central aftrca. We are committed to three basic principles: Client Service, Teamwork, and Professionalism.
It was 1989 hanging around some weeks in Jamaica, we founded our own soundsystem. Influenced by famous soundmen like Lee Perry, King Tubby or Jah Shakka, we made our first steps in our own neighbourhood in the very south of Germany.
In those days, reggae was hard to find in clubs, and most of the people only know artists like Bob Marley or Peter Tosh. To fill this gap, we tried to find a way to present Dancehall and Dub in an authentic style. Therefore we built the Blackwood Soundsystem.
BROTHERHOOD SOUND SYSTEM, specializing in the various styles of reggae music, was established by two German brothers in 1992.
Jah Robbi & Don Martin

BROTHERHOOD SOUND SYSTEM was set up right here in Santa Fe as an outlet for this music as well as for local singers and dj's (rappers) . Besides playing shows in New Mexicos' cities, BROTHER-HOOD was the first reggae sound to touch down
