Advantage General Insurance Company Limited, the largest general insurance company, enjoys a rich history in the insurance industry in Jamaica. Formed in 1964, later, in 1986 the company became known as United General Insurance Company Limited, recording phenomenal growth; moving from a gross annual premium of $10 million to approximately $3.1 billion in 2005.
