That organization later changed ownership and was renamed First Jamaica National Bank Limited. That institution was acquired on March 26, 1993, as a joint venture between Trafalgar Development Bank with 51% of the shareholdings and Grace Kennedy & Co. Ltd. (since renamed GraceKennedy Limited) having 49% of the shareholdings. It was then renamed Trafalgar Commercial Bank Limited (TCB).
