Mac's Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics 05 Ltd. has been in existence since 1987. It came to life due to demands for pharmaceuticals that were scarce or frequently off the market. The founder was Noel McFarlane (Bachelor Pharmacy. Hon) and later assisted by his able wife Clover McFarlane. Our major thrust over the years has been in the manufacturing of antacids, creams, ointments and skin cleansers. We currently produce various tablets, capsules and herbal medications. Due to efficacy, consistency, presentation and low cost of our products, Mac's Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics 05 Ltd. has been on a consistent upward path of growth, and has managed to secure a number of government tenders despite growing competition.
The first Fontana Pharmacy was opened in November 30, 1968 at Manchester Shopping Centre in Mandeville by Bobby and Angela Chang. We now have additional branches at Fairview Shopping Centre in Montego Bay and Beckford Plaza in Sav-La-Mar. We are now Jamaica’s Leading Pharmacy Chain.
